IGF Awards
The IGF Competition (full rules set here) will give out eight major awards:
Seumas McNally Grand Prize ($10,000)
Excellence in Visual Art ($2,000)
Excellence in Audio ($2,000)
Excellence in Design ($2,000)
Excellence in Narrative ($2,000)
Nuovo Award ($2,000)
Best Student Game ($2,000)
Audience Award ($2,000)
In addition, all Independent Games Festival finalists will receive a $1,000 stipend, regardless of whether they win an award.
There will be six specifically named finalists for each award, apart from the Nuovo award, which will consist of eight finalists. All finalists will be invited to the IGF award ceremony at GDC 2020. The IGF Audience Award will be voted on from finalists in all of the categories. In addition to the eight major awards, the IGF will be hosting the alt.ctrl.GDC Award at the Ceremony on March 18, 2020.

Category Finalists receive:
Two All-Access Passes to the 2020 GDC
Up to five exhibitor passes to the 2020 GDC.
$1,000 stipend
