Devouring Stars

Devouring Stars is a game where galaxy-sized gods eat starfields to fight an endless war. It's a strategy game inspired by greek mythology and tragedy, with Dan Simmons googles (so to speak).

In Devouring Stars the player seems to be in charge of his destiny. He is able to define what will happen to him, what enemies he will have to fight against. But that freedom is really a trompe l'oeil, in the end the player is just entrapped in a complex maze, one that is redesigned at every step along the way.
