Banished is a city-building strategy game where the player controls a group of exiled travelers who decide to restart their lives in a new land. They have only the clothes on their backs and a cart filled with supplies from their homeland.

The objective of the game is to build a new city out of the wilderness while keeping the population alive and helping it grow. The townspeople of Banished are your primary resource. They are born, grow older, work, have children of their own, and eventually die. Keeping them healthy, happy, and well-fed are essential to making your town grow. Building new homes is not enough—there must be enough people to move in and have families of their own.

The success or failure of a town depends on the appropriate management of risks and resources.

Bokida is a first-person 3D game. It's an interactive experience where the player is invited to explore a vast, beautiful and peculiar world.

Bokida's world is defined by two Stars : The Light one, the surface of which the player explores; and the Dark one, visible in the skies above. These two gigantic entities have been separated for a very long time, but the player's arrival marks a turning point in this equilibrium. Like two lovers longing to reunite after having been kept apart against their will, these two stars finally have a chance to merge once again through the player's actions.
Exploration revolves around the playful manipulation of a set of digital "tools" that allow the player to engage and harness the virtual environment. The player can create unique, colorful structures/compositions and colonize the canvas of the computer screen. Hence, the dormant world of Bokida is tamed and turns into a territory where the player toys with the simulated physics as she discovers the majestic landscapes it has to offer.

At the core of the experience, we designed a powerful digital toy bestowed upon the player who's free to playfully manipulate it. With these tools, the player can generate 3D structures, precisely cut and sculpt them and also push or blow away cut-off cubes and fragments, all of this in real time. Mechanics combine in an eloquent manner to offer an experience almost sensual in nature, where the player is invited to express her creativity and to navigate the vast, open world according to her own motivations.

A graveyard simulator, a story of epitaphs, a tale of ghosts that haunt, a game with no goal— all valid descriptions of Boon Hill. Boon Hill is a game about reading gravestones. The game itself has no win scenario, or lose scenario; Instead, it is about inferred stories. The graveyard is full of whispers from those who've long since passed on: tales of love, life, sorrow, and joy, told over generations. The threads of narrative are woven throughout the gravestones for you to discover. Here, people are tied together by something as simple as similar birth dates, the places they were born or died, and even the styles of their grave markers. Subtle stories abound in the rows of stone. So enjoy the game, play it for as long or as short a time as you want. There's no wrong way to experience Boon Hill.

A procedurally-generated tactics RPG where your decisions matter more than in most games. We avoid crutches like ever-increasing hitpoints and attack power. As your characters level up, each new ability is a discrete new action, and these actions produce combinatoric results. This combinatoric power is how your party really gets stronger.

We work carefully to take Looking-Glass-style emergence, and a Binding of Issac-ish feeling of an ever-growing world full of tons of stuff, but we keep these things in a very crisp container. All actions are discrete, and there is no randomness in combat. Your characters have 4 hit points, even as they become very powerful! This crispness amplifies the importance of your decisions.

Broforce is a local co-op patriotism simulation. You play as 80's and 90's action heroes waging war against terror in almost entirely destructible nostalgic settings.

While superficially a run 'n gun in the vein of Metal Slug, Broforce's reactive environment encourages tactical play. Each bro out of the 14 the game currently features (with many more to come) has distinctive overpowered attacks and special abilities, and mastering them all is one of Broforce's core pleasures.

Death is instant and often surprising, but this is balanced by the incompetence of the enemy. Explosions are plentiful and may often result in unpredictable chain reactions, but this shouldn't discourage you from permanently holding down your trigger finger. Yelling "'Murica!" while you do so is optional.

Buba was a little beetle that lived with all the other beetles in beetle land. As Buba walked over the grass, it turned to stone. Buba was cursed! His friends said he was ruining all their food as they could no longer reach the seeds. Buba was sad. Everyone stopped talking to him! Buba thought maybe if he collected all the seeds for his friends they would love him again?

At its simplest form, Buba is a puzzle game with the objective of collecting all the seeds available in each level. The levels consist of different grids of tiles that you, as a beetle, walk on with certain constraints of course. Tiles act differently when the player passes over them according to their type. This brings us to the tricky part, the beetle changes colour and based on that colour, it can only walk on the corresponding tile type. Now, there's a special tile that enables the beetle to change colour and when it walks on the tiles, they change back to their original colour (going from grassy areas to rocky areas for example), changing the path again. A level editor is also available where you create custom levels and share them with other players.

Chart the Emerald seas, solve clever puzzles, and gather the treasure! Bubblenauts combines the universal appeal of match-3 mechanics with the intellectual challenge of ordered puzzles and resource management. In the game, you command a boat which winds its way across an island archipelago. You must clear each diving spot of the bubbles that block it by making groups of 3+ bubbles of the same color.

Each completed dive unlocks new exploration sites, and brings up treasure and pearls - which you can trade for game-changing power-ups. The first dives are simple to help you learn. As you advance, your planning and pattern-making skills will be tested to the limit by new geometries, a wilder mix of special bubbles, and by the wisdom with which you've spent your limited supply of pearls. Do you think you are good enough to collect the entire Jolly Roger's treasure? If yes, please don't let the boat leave without you!

C3

If you ever wondered what it would be like to be trapped inside a Rubik's cube, having to solve it from the inside out, then you'll want to play C3. A 3D spatial puzzle platformer the likes of which Escher himself would find head-scratching.

The core concept of C3 is to put players in a totally unique environment that behaves in a wholly unique way. The goal was for a player to walk into a room, observe its current state, then twist and alter the room to change it into the state needed to progress. The idea was to combine the stimulation and fiero of solving a puzzle with the excitement and awe of moving a massive object, the room in which you're standing. This was accomplished in two ways. The first is through unique, but very intuitive, mechanics. The player interacts with the world in familiar ways, but the results of these actions are fantastic and grand. The second is through the world itself. The alien and abstract environments are striking both in motion and while still, and help to give context to the radical mechanics. Our vision is to give players a world that they can pick up and play with, not just play in.

Chat Fu takes Facebook Chat and turns it into a social video game. The game focuses on "chat battles" that force players to trick their friends into saying certain words in Facebook chat. For example, you can select a target word like "lunch." You are then tasked with getting your friend to say "lunch" without mentioning certain trap words like "sandwich."

Your friend also doesn't even need to know that you're playing the game. To the other player, Chat Fu conversations show up as the typical private messages you'd expect to see with Facebook Chat. Chat Fu players can also share their victories by posting instant replays of their deceptive accomplishments on their Facebook walls.

"Rather than think of Chat Fu as a Facebook game, think of Facebook itself as the game." - National Post

"If we were able to give a prize to the most uniquely awesome video game idea that we've seen in quite some time, then there's no doubt in my mind that Chat Fu would take home the gold." - Gamezebo (Web Based Game of the Month August 2013)
