Castleclysm (noun) - Any absurd upheaval, especially one of a dramatic social or political nature occurring within a castle interior.

So there's a big Castle, a bunch of really angry peasants, a very irresponsible King, and some out-of-place Magic Casters. Come on! How bad could it be?

Embark on a medieval journey of many tales: An insolent King, a grand Castle, angry peasants, and the Magic Casters that find themselves in bizarre situations. Play as one of the Magic Casters and follow their tales of drama, comedy, and mayhem. Deal with mobs of angry peasants that all wish to destroy the Castle... with you inside! It's castleclysm! Do everything you can! Defend yourself with the Castle's many valuable objects--treasure chests, chandeliers, the King's throne and more — or conjure your many crowd sweeping spells to rid the hall of different types of intruders that want you gone! Can you survive the perpetual mayhem known as Castleclysm?

The original version of Catlateral Damage was created for the August 2013 7DFPS game jam. I wanted to experiment within the well understood, but often derivative, first-person viewpoint. I thought it would be fun to allow players to experience an unconventional perspective, and I chose cats as I grew up with them. In particular my childhood pet, Nippy, was the primary inspiration for the game: while cuddly and friendly he was also aloof and demanding, and loved to knock things off shelves.

Catlateral Damage marries the experience of being a cat with reserve Katamari Damacy gameplay - knock over as many objects as you can before your owner gets home and puts a stop to your rampage. Roguelike elements ensure that the game is different every time and that players gain new abilities as they play.

Darkest Dungeon is a challenging gothic strategy RPG about the psychological stresses of adventuring. Uncompromising and unforgiving, it is a dungeon crawler that elevates the importance of a character's mental state over their gear. With the Affliction System, you will have to tend to heroes' spirits as much as you do their hit points, leading them to victory despite their phobias, proclivities and emotional baggage.

Recruit, train, and direct a roster of these flawed heroes through twisted forests, forgotten warrens, ruined crypts and beyond. Battle a wide variety of foes with an innovative turn-based combat system. Stress, not wounds, may be your party's undoing, as your heroes' ability to fight is balanced against their willingness to do it. Contend with famine, disease, and the ever-encroaching dark. Camp to heal injuries or deliver inspiring speeches. Rest your weary characters in town at the tavern or send them to the abbey to keep their stress in check. Can you stem the tide of eldritch horrors erupting across your family's ancestral estate?

Day & Night is an innovative and uncommon memory game utilizing spacial and temporal skills. Day & Night features simplistic graphics style and each level consists of two phases, a day phase and a night phase. During the day mosquitos follow very interesting paths (VIPs) and you are supposed to remember those trails. During the night VIP mosquitos will fly again along the same trails, but in addition there is a number of enemy mosquitos flying around, too. The task is simple: kill all the enemies without harming VIPs. For this task there are different tools to be used which differ from level to level. For example, there are lamps which burn all the mosquitos in its influence area. Then there are frogs which will greedy swallow each mosquito which comes too close to their tongues. This simple principle is a receipt for many different gameplay settings.

Level selection is done in an innovative way: each level corresponds to a day in a calendar overview. This was inspired by real physical riddle calenders, where you have to solve one task per day. D&N is currently still in development and at the moment 45 levels are playable.

Roland Studios is an independent video game developer currently working on a 2d Platformer entitled "Daydreamer." The story is a little ambiguous to explain, but here goes. To sum up, it's about a young girl, Olivia, waking up in a post-apocalyptic era.

Olivia awakens from a human preservation chamber on her home planet which was taken over by aliens thousands of years ago. She wakes up to find a barren world stripped of its resources in the midst of civil war. The world has become over-populated by its new alien inhabitants. As a result, the aliens have turned against the gods that they had once served. The world is in shambles from radioactive war, genetically mutated aliens, and giant bugs.

Meanwhile, as the world struggles, Olivia is in a deep sleep. She has a dream in which she is confronted by one of the aliens who tells her that she must seek out her brother. Soon after she awakens, the game begins. –Oh yeah, and she also has super psychic powers!

The game plays like a conventional side scrolling shooter, greatly inspired by Megaman and older Treasure Games, i.e. Gun-star Heroes/Alien Soldiers, from the 16 bit era. Aside from platforming and shooting, the game also has "Spirit Animals" support character mercenaries that give the player a tactical edge amongst all the chaos. The game is very Boss Focused, although it includes a vast interconnected world for exploration, dare I say Metroidmania.

The look of the game is primarily pre-rendered cgi sprites. Since the dawn of the N64, the law of the land has always been "everything 3d". Everything had to be "a connected all in one immersive experience," a common buzzword that has been used to death. I miss games that were just an "awesome experience". I have always admired the graphical fidelity of titles like Donkey Kong Country and Final Fantasy VII. Admittedly they look dated in hindsight, but the details are what made it work. When thinking about a graphical style for the game, I always wondered what games would have looked like had developers continue this route. Today most platformers are either Puppet Rigged Graphics, Pixel Art Throwbacks, or have real time DirectX/OpenGL 3d rendering. All of them have their own inherent beauty, but that being said, I believe that we live in a day and age when most computer processing can handle HD sprites, and there are many possibilities that we have yet to explore.

Loosely based on the true story of Egypt's secret missile program in the 1960s and the Mossad spies who infiltrated and eliminated those behind it. Deception presents an espionage experience that emphasizes story and player choice amidst a paranoid, morally ambiguous world. An adventure game at heart, death and violence are not treated lightly and come with grave consequences as the issues of pre-emptive responses to threats are explored. Deception focuses on the elements of being a spy that are often neglected in games; gamble in European casinos, get information out of femme fatales, and infiltrate the highest echelons of power without needing to pull a trigger.

Above all, the ambitions of this game are to tackle very relevant issues in a realistic and honest manner. We hope to illustrate how difficult it can be to do the right thing and produce the intended results in the world of espionage in the Middle East. Deception chronicles the events that led to the Six-Day War which saw Israel capture the Gaza strip from Egypt, the results of which are still very much felt today.

The Game
The game is a classic style first person dungeon crawler, where you form a party of adventurers and go into a dungeon, fighting monsters, solving puzzles, collecting equipment and treasure, and learning the the dungeons secrets.

The Setting
The setting of the game is a medieval fantasy world full of strange races like vegetable people, land dolphins, yetis and others.

The Story
There was a gnome who's dream was to make a pretend dungeon that could be enjoyed by all. Eventually the place went out of business, and overtime it slowly became an actual dungeon. The player forms a party to enter the dungeon and find out what happened to the place. When you go in, it still has all of the typical information signs you would find in a theme park, and it's questionable how much of what you are seeing is part of the original attraction or a real dungeon. As you go through the dungeon you find notes from the dungeon master's journal telling his story about how he went from creating his dream dungeon to becoming obsessed and losing everything he had.
