Tacoma is the next game from the creators of Gone Home, and carries on that tradition of detailed, immersive interactive storytelling in a richly-imagined speculative fiction setting.

The year is 2088 as you set foot aboard Lunar Transfer Station Tacoma. Your mission: to retrieve the station's advanced AI, ODIN, and return it to its rightful owners. As you go about your mission, you'll explore how the station's crew lived and worked, unraveling the mystery of what really happened to them, and finding clues that form a gripping story of trust, fear, and resolve in the face of disaster.

At the heart of Tacoma is the facility's digital surveillance system, which has captured 3D recordings of pivotal moments in the crew's life on the station. As you explore, echoes of these captured moments surround you. You'll use your ability to rewind, fast-forward, and move through the physical space of these complex, interwoven scenes to interactively examine events from every angle, reconstructing the multi-layered narrative as you explore, adding up to a uniquely player-driven story exploration experience.

In development since 1993, TAROTICA VOO DOO is a Japanese ESCAPE ROOM adventure with fully hand-drawn animation (with a mouse!). Despite its simple controls (directional keys and spacebar only), the game overturns the modern logic for how a video game plays. Much like you are picking up a game for the first time again, you will have to rediscover the basics, and apply them to the game's deceivingly intuitive puzzles and rhythmical combat.

You, equipped with nothing but a sword and shield, climb the cliff to a haunted mansion on a hill. A plane is en route to crash-land into the mansion, and you are the only hope to save the family inside. Unfortunately, today happens to be the family's memorial dinner day, and evacuation before they have had their fill is not an option. What's more, there is a horde of monsters and obstacles in between you and getting the family to safety. Get in, navigate the mansion's bizarre challenges, make dinner, and save the day.

The main window is a top-down map view of the mansion, where you can move the cursor to search for and select objects in your current room. New areas reveal themselves as you unlock doors and explore. In the upper-right is a zoomed-in view of objects that you interact with and enemies that you fight. Your character is displayed in the bottom-right, where you can transition between defense and attack position. You will be challenged repeatedly by the battles and likely die, but fortunately you can quickly retry without losing progress as many times as you would like. There are no upgrades or leveling up, so conquering the challenges is entirely up to your own wit and persistence.

The Darwin Project takes place in a pre-apocalyptic landscape in the Northern Canadian Rockies. To prepare for an impending Ice Age, a half science experiment, half live-entertainment death sport is launched. It's called The Darwin Project and it challenges inmates to survive the cold and fight in a treacherous snow-covered forest arena.

The game offers a competitive multiplayer third person survival experience featuring at its core a new gameplay innovation: the manhunt. In his or her path to victory, each player must survive extreme environmental conditions, track opponents, and set traps to win. The eight players try to outsmart each other using crafting, tracking, hunting, cunning, and other survival skills, and can even negotiate temporary alliances to come out on top.

With The Darwin Project, our team is re-imagining the Battle Royale survival sub-genre, adding elements of a reality show including a 'Show Director.' This new type of player character controls the arena, interacts with spectators, and helps or punishes the combatants. This creates a whole new level of engagement for fans and strategy for players.

The Metronomicon is a fusion of the high-speed, fluid, zen-like state of playing a rhythm/music game with the story-rich loot, leveling, and character building of a full length RPG.

The game is birthed from two design desires.
1) To simplify an RPG down to its mechanical roots. Boil it down to just what we think makes it fun. Character building, combat, battle, strategy.
2) How do we introduce strategy into the rhythm genre? How can we make player decision matter?

Every song in The Metronomicon represents the exploration of one wing of a deep dungeon. The foyer of a grand castle, the top of a dragon's mountain. As the song plays on, unlimited parades of monstrous enemies assault you, attacking away.
Use your created team of four heroes to fight back, swapping between heroes (each with their own choreographed instrumental track) on the fly, and playing various rhythm patterns to cast your spells.
Need a cure? Hop over there and play a quick beat. Need a nuke? Jam over to the Black Mage, and play as long a streak as you can. Buff worn off? Pay a quick musical visit to the Paladin.

It's like... if Rock Band were for one-man bands... and every member of the band liked swords.

TILTOFF is based on the spiritual belief of balance and flow of movement inspired by Tai Chi.

Though the game seems like a simple arcade game on the surface, it is this simple mechanic that allows the player to easily dive deep into the core of the experience - one that seeks to improve the spiritual balance of the player.

Leveraging Ian Bogost's Theory of Procedural Rhetoric, which theories that a player can learn through experience and repetition of a procedure in a game, I have crafted the game in a way that will teach you, through repetition, that true balance does not come from staying still but from continuously moving to offset the imbalance.

Where the Water Tastes Like Wine is a single-player narrative game about traveling and telling stories, set in an America inspired by folklore and the Great Depression. Unlike other narrative games, however, WTWTLW is structured not as a single central narrative, but as a collection of short stories. While wandering, the player will meet 16 different characters, each of whom was written by a different writer. The stories share the theme of the failure of the American Dream, especially as it relates to those outside the mainstream of American society. The player, cursed to wander the land as the personification of Folk culture, takes on the task of spreading folktales and helping them grow, as well as collecting the life stories of the characters they meet.

The game has both a 3D overworld that the player wanders, having various adventures, and 2D conversation scenes between the player and the characters. In small branching choice sequences scattered around the world, the player collects stories on a variety of topics, and then trades those over the campfire with the characters encountered to learn more about their lives and their personal stories. Over time, these stories that the player scatters around will be passed from person to person and grow in the telling, becoming better (although less true). Through all this, the player must maintain their health and other resources against the difficulties of the hobo life. If the player can earn the trust and see the true inner selves of all 16 of the characters, their assigned task is over and they can rest.
