Nightmare Cove

Experience trapped ruins, exorcisms, witch-hunts, zombie apocalypses, haunted houses or simply surviving the night! Nightmare Cove, an independent, interactive horror story game on Facebook, allows you to do all that and more. Players move through text-based adventures choosing what to do at each story point.

Nightmare Cove employs a unique story driven system that delivers role-playing information in narrative form. Each adventure is a self-contained, interactive horror story. Players determine the outcome of the tale by the choices they make. Along the way, they fight monsters, find treasure and overcome (or not) obstacles based on their abilities. Every adventure has several possible outcomes of various levels of success that determine how much experience the character earns. As the character progresses, they gain levels and learn new skills.

Nightmare Cove's Adventure Builder tool allows users to make their own interactive adventures to share with their friends and the larger Nightmare Cove community. The Adventure Builder is a proprietary, in-game engine that gives users a friendly interface to design their own story tree.
