MilitAnt

MilitAnt is a side-scrolling shooter in which you the player, as a lone soldier ant, must defend your home colony from an all-out invasion by the other bug nations.

As a new day dawns, you awaken to the terrible clamor of explosions as the enemy army approaches. The lone guard in your watchtower, you have no choice but to face the enemy as they overrun your surroundings.

Eventually you rejoin the ant forces, only to find out the horrible truth of your dire situation; this is no simple skirmish or lone foe. Indeed, the other insect nations have all allied to eliminate your colony for good. Now it is up to your skill and determination to save your civilization, traveling to distant and foreign lands, where you must battle the insect invaders and discover why this war began….and how to end it.

Presenting a true 2.5D gameplay experience, the player will face off against enemies from all angles (including the background and foreground), using multiple weapons simultaneously. With a comprehensive leveling-up system and the ability to mix-and-match weapons, the game adapts itself to the player, helping him to save the colony against all odds.
