"You are the puzzle,
You are the mystery,

But can you find the right Answer?"

"Exist" is a philosophical horror-adventure taking place in a stream-of-consciousness manner where you explore nightmarish and surreal scenarios made up of the deepest and darkest thoughts of your character and the world around them as you embark on an odyssey to answer some of the most crucial existential questions.

--You have to figure out and "solve" your own character as you explore and interact with the dream world made up of their fears, prejudices and dreams as seen through the lens of a surreal nightmare.

The game's various scenarios take place in surreal nightmares of the characters where they are put in situations which can be solved by understanding a specific aspect of a character's psyche.

--The scenarios included in this early demo are centered around three common philosophical questions:
"Why do we hate?"
"Where does the true happiness lie?"
"What is our purpose?"

-- "Exist" attempts to explore those complex questions through the medium of "character as a setting" where the inner sanctum of the player character's psyche is explored in order to answer those very questions.

-- The mechanics deal with interacting with the character's subconscious to either alter the world around you or engage with its inhabitants, made of character's own in vague conversations.

-- "Puzzle solving" is non-linear and completely reliant on player's observation, interaction with the world and their perception.

-- The Answer is partly defined by player's actions -- so be careful as what you may do may very well end up defining your character and thus the Answer.

-- Emotions alter the functioning of the world subtly

-- Memories from the past provide player some crucial hints based on their own observation about the possible Answers.
