flapping bird is a game that attempts to communicate the emotional experience of going through a midlife crisis. The game takes one of the most commercial and mainstream games of recent memory and subverts it in the name of narrative and emotional experimentation. The goal of flapping bird is to make the player relate to the feelings of malaise, hopelessness and despair that can come from a period of personal reflection.
