Leaving is not your typical first person game. It explores the moment before you step off the edge, take that fork in the road you never thought you would, embark on a new adventure.

As a piece of short-form digital theatre for the 2nd and 3rd generation iPad, it features a single-player three-act sequence, where you play a role, like an actor, and explore what it means to leave home.

The game takes you on a poetically charged journey with minimalistic gameplay, where you play as Willem, saying goodbye to your loved ones at the international departures hall of an airport. Using gestures and taps you explore this beautiful experiential game.

In this artistically motivated game you will go abroad abandoning your ordinary life. Such events happen more often in our minds than in reality. Now, however, you are able to experience that emotional moment of Leaving.
