Hacknet is a modern, super immersive terminal-driven hacking game with a fully internally-consistent network simulation and an interface so real you shouldn't play it in an airport.
It follows the story of recently deceased hacker "Bit", whose death may not be the 'accident' the media reports.

You stand in for no one, as most games have you do - play for yourself, make your own decisions, and see the world react - if you're leaving a trace that is.
Hacknet has no protagonist, other than the person using it. Don't be reckless though - it's more real than you think.

INK has a similar feel to hardcore platformers like Super Meat Boy. The object of each level is to defeat all of the enemies in the room (if any) and reach the goal. However, the terrain is invisible to the player. The player can discover terrain by physically bumping into it, or by performing a double jump. The double jump sprays paint bullets out of the player and increases the player's awareness of their surroundings. If the player happens to bump into spikes or falls to their death, paint will also shoot out from the player's last position. The room isn't wiped clean after death so that the player has an easier time navigating after multiple attempts! This expanded Steam version includes new mechanics, Boss encounters to provide a nice challenge and a change of pace.

Classical 2D point-n-click psychedelic adventure, permeated with original humor and mind blowing puzzles.
The game tells about a creature named Pip, who has an incarnation in a surreal world as a funny but brutal worm. Pip is naive and doesn't know anything about this reality. Talking with a flower or a stone for him as natural as tasting another representative of local fauna. He examines this new world overcoming obstacles to a new rebirth and trying to figure out who he is. At the same time he is learning the laws of karma and the relativity of good and evil.

You never know what will be the last thing you say to someone. On a transport ship leaving earth, a passenger kills time by scrolling through the messages of their social media feed. As the ship leaves and moves further and further away from home, the delay between sending messages and their arrival lengthens. What feels like minutes on the ship is hours, days, weeks, even years back on Earth. Each refresh of the timeline is a tiny window into the past. What will you do in those precious few moments as the lives of everyone you know pass by?

Created for the 2014 Antholojam. A text-based game structured like a social media timeline, where the story plays out faster than you can act. An attempt at exploring the connections we all have to people online who we may be powerless to help except with our words.

Kromaia is a 360º free roaming shooter in a no-up-or-down space piloting environment. It features a unique universe with Tron reminiscent aesthetics populated by ancient temples to explore, plenty of intelligent enemy swarms and epic battles against huge bosses. Most players agree in describing this blend as "Descent and Star Fox meet Shadow of the Colossus". Kromaia combines a complex but easy to learn maneuvering system with updated classic arcade elements like bullet hell mechanics, translating them to a 3D world with full physics interaction to achieve an experience like never before in terms of immersion, action and speed. Kromaia demands spatial awareness and definitely it is not a casual game but, after the first few minutes, the freedom of movement, combined with a frantic gameplay, an excellent action flow and thrilling final boss battles, offer a newal of the shoot'em up genre from a completely new perspective.

KUKABALL is an innovative soccer game app that places the player physically in the game through physical interactions with the ball using fingers. KUKABALL aims to entertain people in short breaks (45 seconds total game duration) while enforcing imagination and creativity. The player has to come up with quick creative moves to score against the Kuka (goalie).

In KUKABALL, you can have fun interactions through your fingers with a soccerball/football (dribbling, shooting, passing) with the ultimate aim of scoring as many goals as you can against the Kuka (the Turkish name for a cone) in 45 seconds. You have to be creative with your interactions with the ball to score goals (inter alia, you can dribble the ball to certain angles then shoot, you can pass off screen borders or shoot off screen borders). As a benchmark, hopefully, you will beat the developer's highest score of 23 goals in 45 seconds. Or if you don't want to be competitive, just play it for fun and make creative plays to defeat the Kuka.

Scoring a good number of goals against the Kuka (goalie) requires that the player develop the necessary skills to handle the ball with fingers in appropriate ways (as is the case when people learn to play soccer with their feet). So the player is challenged in a fun way to improve ball handling and shooting skills to be able to score more goals against the Kuka. Mostly, the Kuka will not let the ball in for a score by just a single shot and the player needs to make creative plays (i.e. dribble to an appropriate angle and shoot, make passes of the screen borders and then shoot). As ball handling skills of the player improves, the player becomes capable of scoring more goals however the Kuka is also adaptive to the skill level of the player and its performance as goalie also improves.

KWAAN is a different kind of MMORPG. Although it retains some traditional features of the genre (experience points, skills, servers, quests), it is before all an ecosystem, in which the players will have to work together in order to maintain peace, harmony and life. KWAAN is pacifist, spiritual and non-gendered - although it softly challenges our institutionalized binary systems. KWAAN replaces combat, consummation and destruction with meditation, sharing and creation.

The game features a complete non-scripted pollution system that players can use or get rid of, depending on their priorities. KWAAN also proposes a range of automated, ritualized daily tasks, a lot of free-spaces to draw, organize and communicate, and a de-linearized narrative based on contexts. The whole game is an experience, to be shared either as a life simulator - or as a personal storyquest. We are trying to address the problem of designing a sustainable model for full cooperative online adventures games, games that are as much emergent as they are "written".

Started as an experiment for a cognitive science laboratory in France, Kwaan is made by David Calvo and Maxime Plantady, working as an indie duo in Montreal, published by Ankama in France. The team is completed by Eric Léveillée and Mathieu Giguère. Two freelance artists are working with us remotely, Gary Lucken from England as art direction, and David Kanaga from Oakland as composer. The development is very informal, and we base a lot of our planning on the feedback from the community. We are not obsessed with process : we like to do what we do in a permanent state of happiness, and be surprised.
